Some photos from this morning.
Below: Scrambled egg with smoked cheddar & and a few baby spinach leaves, tucked inside a corn tortilla; broiled tomato with same smoked cheddar; an orange. You’re welcome.
Below: Orange Kitty (feral kitty who nests on our balcony) looking inside (Reflection is of Christmas red pepper lights, in case you’re wondering).
Below: Orange Kitty now trudging off to get his breakfast I suspect. Someone else feeds him canned food, I think. He’s quite hefty!

I came across your breakfast plate this morning. A healthy breakfast and thank you! The cat has such a sweet face it must be ahrd not to let him/her in. I have a friend who let one in and a while later she had kittens. Great blog as always.
can you feed me breakfast please? I mean, c’mon y’already take care of the cat!
I love OK…
Mary Jane: Orange Kitty won’t come in (I’ve tried). Prefers living outside–enduring a Montreal winter! Can’t really blame him as he has a nice set up on our balcony, and other people are feeding him as well. And glad you liked me breakfast. It was darn yummy–as well as healthy, yes!
Jazz: Of COURSE I’d feed you! …When I find you sitting on our balcony, staring through the sliding glass doors, looking all pitiful and cold (yet somehow cute!) in an orange fur coat. : D
And me?…would you feed me too? Out on your balcony (on a Montreal winter day) I’d certainly be staring, as I’d most likely be frozen! For sure, I’d be looking all pitiful and cold, for I’m from S.TX..can’t weather your conditions! As for the orange fur coat?…I’d be willing to grow one in order to be treated to one of your breakfasts!..and I’ll even bring the tortillas!
Orange kitty looks remarkably like a cat I had when I was about the age of 5. My ‘fat cat’ was named Yellow, and was stolen by some teenage boys….while I shyly stood by and watched them walk down the street with him.
he doesn’t look very feral now!
My cats won’t cease imploring for solid food. They are getting me loco, but I enjoy them nonetheless. You cannot in truth refuse those gorgeous soulful eyes and their anguished meows when they are hungry (or at least behave like they are hungry). They really are impressive actors and actresses.
WONDERFUL! we have 3! keep the orange tabby pics coming!
