Sometimes we just need a little space to ourselves. : )
The original version of this was not cropped. What do you think? Do you like this better..? Just curious. I couldn’t make up my mind.

It’s a tough call, but I lean slightly toward the uncropped version. It’s amazing how realistic Painter washes are. Nice art, as usual.
I think non-cropped gives it more breathing room, or space if you will. 🙂
Nice! I actually think I like the cropped version… but then i’m a close-up kind of gal as my own post says this week LOL
Bron: Thanks for your compliment & input. That seems to be the popular choice and I get it. Yes, the brushes are my favorite!
Ken: Yup! I felt that myself but couldn’t articulate why. Thanks for leaving a comment!
Mary: Thanks! Yes, to be fair, I should have made them exactly the same size. I thought about that too. Now to go check out your post! Thanks for commenting here, btw! I appreciate them all!
Haha, I see your dilemma. My inclination is the one that is not cropped, but then I change my mind! Very funny and cute dog! Must be a great book.
Sweet! Love the sentiment.
Cindy: I’m with you. They both work, but then… : ) Thanks for your input!
Kent: Merci!
Hi Paula! I’ve been traveling so I missed this one–I’m a dog lover, so of course I love your astrodog (and your potato shaped planet!). Although it is a rough call, I think the cropped version captures the tail wag better (my favorite detail). I love visiting your blog, and I really admire how your digital work always looks so fresh.
Thanks, Nancy! I appreciate your letting me know your thoughts on this piece–to go cropped or not? Yes, there are strengths in both ways to go so I hear you. Thanks for sharing that you like the tail-wag! I’ll have to go look at that again! And thanks for letting me know you like my work. As you know, it’s always good to hear that once in a while. : ) I enjoy your work, too! It looks effortless and fun!
