Illustration Friday: “Acrobat”

Well! More playing around with that…that fun, painterly style! Like I said, I never really know exactly where it’s going to go and/or how it’s going to turn out. This one just flowed though. And I like the results. I hope you do too. : )

Please check out the other entries at Illustration Friday. Many, many good ones to make you smile and other things!

And I was playing around with some illustrated type. Here’s a sample, below:

You are SO good at illustration Paula. Parents and their children must just gobble up your work!

    Hi Paula
I think those closed eyes tell me she is either completely confident in her acrobatic abilities or she is scared silly and is closing her eyes and holding her breath before she swings out into the open space. I love it!

I love the painterly style, the colors and all of the ‘sparkles.’ The audience is the perfect touch. Great job!

I love it Paula! Sometimes we’re all acrobats taking flying leaps into the unknown! And we do that, it’s good to have a smile on your face! 🙂
