I’m wondering how many folks submitted the *Hero* sandwich for this week’s Illustration Friday? I’m guessing quite a few, as it’s not an inobvious concept for the topic, but I didn’t check out many links prior to doing this drawing, and of those I did see, none opted to do a sandwich. No matter, as there are a multitude of interpretations for the same concept, so it’ll be fun to see what everyone came up with!

I’ve seen other heros lurking about the submission list, but this is truly a hero of heros. Super technique & style. And a killer sammich to boot.

There is something about your style that IS instantly recognizable. First, there’s an ease in your drawing style…even in tighter drawings. And there is always a fresh dose of whimsy, color and class.
