IF: Ageing

(I’ve got a food-theme going on…)

A few years back I seriously considered trying my hand at making cheese. Not the Swiss that is depicted below, but something that would take less time or had a shorter ageing process; something like Mozzarella which is best not aged at all. Alas, I never did get around to cheese-making but someday, maybe…

This is the cheese. I mean it. Literally and figuratively.

This is a great concept for aging – a positive one! That cheese is great! It looks real and I can definitely see your distinct style in the artwork.

Fabbage. It’s making me hungry. Great idea and wonderfully executed.

Whenever I thought about this topic I thought about cheese. I’m glad you did it. Very nice piece.

Many thanks for the comments, guys!

I know…I could have injected some sort of humor into this piece, tried to come up with SOMEthing funny; SOME sort of humorous angle. Buuuuut…It was late, I’ve been busy, I was being lazy (sort of), and so on. And I don’t want to get TOO wrapped up in the IF stuff, if you know what I mean. Okay…Enough alraady on that. So I’ve obviously got hero sandwiches, cookies, ice cream and cheese on the brain. What next? : )

As I am actually a little mouse, of course I LOVE this one! Makes me all hungry (stupid thing, I´m lactose-intolerant…). Never mind, I think this is one of the best ideas for “aging”! I love your illustrations!
