We had them living under our front porch on Delmar in Pte Claire. My Dad soaked a rag with gasoline lit it and presented it to them when they were rummaging around in the garbage can. They NEVER came back. But Sama, our Samoyed, would every once in a while find a skunk!!!
The other weekend at the cottage there was one on the front balcony (going for the birdseed I guess) He climbed two storeys up the side of the house to get there. I DO NOT want raccoons climbing up the house. But they’re so cute!

Yep… leaving cat food out is a big no no. Better raccoons than skunks, though.
