SOLD! Next time I visit Corpus I’m going to Howard’s BBQ. I pity the folks who’ve never enjoyed BBQ plates like the one pictured. YUM!

I’m not sure what those meat things are but those beans look like the baked beans in a tin we have here!

Heather: Is that right? I just grew up with it. BBQs were a regular routine and the brisket took all day for the men to cook/smoke. Good times!

Lucy: So many good bbq places, even in your area, yes? Where do you think the best is up there?
Jessie: Yes, the beans look like canned, but they’re soaked, seasoned and simmered for a unique southwestern flavor. So good!
