Skinny girls posing to make the word “skinny”. This is a bit of warm up drawing. I’m having a difficult time adjusting to my smaller Cintiq and laptop to draw on. I have yet to figure out why the same brushes I use on my main computer don’t work the same on my laptop/tablet/Cintiq. It’s a big frustration each time I travel. Anyway, I’m somewhat satisfied with the results above. At least the line work is loosy-goosy enough to make me happy.

Paula, this is awesome! I’ve always admired your humor and loosey-goosey line work!
So cool. I really like it.
Love it! My “Skinny” girl on my blog should get together with these gals. I think she’d fit right in
Beautiful, fun illo! Congratulations on having a Cintiq! I just bought a Wacom Intous. I had a Graphire before which was tiny compared to this. I would love to own a Cintiq someday!
Beautiful, I smiled when I saw it…nice work!
C’mon Paula…you should be more than simply ‘somewhat satisfied’ with this!?
It’s wonderful! Clever, witty, colourful…and overall, very well done!
Besides, the skinny girls seem very happy with it!!
very cool! The illustration is so good, I didn’t notice the word at first. great work!

Hey all…Thanks for your comments in regards to the IF illustration!
loni: Enjoy your Wacom! I love their tablets, too. Let us know how it works for you!
Debbie: Awww…I just wasn’t up to par this week, what with the bad cold and all, but I appreciate the support. The weather is outstanding here, btw!
Sorry to hear about the frustrations with the laptop Cintiq. Looking at this Illo I would not notice any problems. Love the idea too. Also love the 1986 illo from your sketch book. Would love to see more of these. Really cool.
